 Thermoregulation microcapsules (i.e., phase-change microcapsules) ,are manufactured by encapsulating specific liquid and solid phase-change temperature materials with encapsulation technology. Paint the thermoregulation microcapsules on surface of materials or place them in materials, to make them regulate temperature or store thermal energy.In environment with temperature lower than the phase-change temperature, the phase-change core materials of thermoregulation microcapsules release heat and change from liquid to solid. In condition that the ambient temperature is higher than the phase-change temperature or in condition of contacting articles with relatively high temperature, phase-change core materials in the microcapsules absorb heat and change from solid to liquid. In this way, microcapsules realize the functions of thermoregulation and energy storage. The encapsulation of the microcapsules can prevent the exposure of the phase-change materials in external environment, solving problems on changes of volume and forms during conversion between solid state and liquid state. Therefore, they can be applied to production of fabrics, building materials and solar energy sailboards.




  Main performance of the products:

  The microcapsule products contain phase-change materials of more than 80%, with favorable mechanical strength;

  The microcapsule products have favorable heat stability, with heat resistance of higher than 200℃;

  The microcapsule products have high enthalpy value of at least 180kg;

  The phase change temperature of the main phase change microcapsules is 28 ℃, 37 ℃ and 45 ℃, which can be customized.


      

 Application ranges of the products:  


Temperature adjusting textiles:Thermoregulation fabrics: Thermoregulation (phase-change) intelligent fabrics are one of fabric clothes with latest scientific and technological features. In condition of sudden change in ambient environment, phase-change fabrics can keep basically constant temperature between human body and microclimate in clothes within certain period, so as to meet the demands on body comfort in extreme environment. It is available to acquire fabrics with functions of thermal storage and temperature regulation by adding cross-linking agent and diluents of thermoregulation microcapsules into padding liquid of fabrics after the fabric finishing process. Outdoor clothes, underclothes, sweaters, hats, gloves and beddings can be produced in this way.
Solar power energy storage clothes:Water tanks are often adopted as the solar heat collection devices, with low heat storage ability and too much heat dissipation amount. Generally, phase-change materials are adopted for heat storage, with disadvantages of too much number on thermal conversions and low solar power utilization rate. Xiangjie thermoregulation microcapsules can solve problems of solar water heaters such as insufficient energy storage and low heat exchange efficiency.
Civil construction materials:uilding energy storage is an important field for the sustainable development, and related energy storage materials are effective and innovative technological products. The emulsion or solid powder of microcapsules can be mixed with other materials to manufacture thermal storage civil construction materials or paintings.
